Uncarved block

December 4, 2011

Leaves still unkissed
by summer rain
treetops brush
twilight’s oils
across a cerulean canvas
colours travel
upon whispers
branches move
between blinks
the uncarved block
revealed.

  1. Gorgeous, Peter! ‘twilight’s oils’ and the other painting related imagery is lovely. I’m afraid ‘colours travel / upon whispers’ sent me into a puddle : ) Thank you.

Between blinks, really liked that. Just goes to show you can blink and miss something.
